Progress
As a group effort from all three group members that are present we have managed to complete our evaluation before schedule.Personally I uploaded our opening sequence from the iMac onto the computer and then imported it into Windows Movie Maker. I also put the text from the first four questions onto the video in the appropriate places. I gave up my after school time to do this and this has helped with the progress of our evaluation. I also posted all the questions onto the 'evaluation' page on my blog.

Evaluation progress
We decided to do the evaluation as a group as this meant that we could split the work up between the group members. This has allowed us to focus more on the sections we are each completing, so that all of the work can be of the highest possible quality. Personally I completed question four and worked on questions one, three and seven with Sophie. We have now completed the notes for all of the questions. Today the group had a discussion about when we could begin to put together our final evaluation, using the notes we wrote out, and I put together a timetable showing when we will work on it including time in media lessons, our free periods and after school time.

My contribution
We have now finished our opening sequence and are focusing on our evaluation. Sophie and I have split the first question between us and I am focusing on how we conformed/challenged conventions of physiological thrillers through the use of our mise en scene, sound, plot/storyline and themes. I have completed the work for this section and will start another question for our evaluation tomorrow.

Update on progress
Everyone in the group has played a role in the final parts of the editing that have been completed today. Personally I, sourced and uploaded a new sound for a section of the opening sequence and added it in in the appropriate place. I also worked with Sophie on adjusting the length of one scene and making sure the sound throughout fits well and is effective. We also started work on the evaluation, Sophie and I are working on the first question and Sam and Kieran on the second. These will need to be completed by next week.

Progress
After deciding that the second half of our opening sequence did not add atmosphere and ruined the effect of the rest of the opening sequence we chose to delete the kitchen scene and come up with a new idea. Kieran and Sam filmed the new idea and began putting it together yesterday. Today Sophie and I added music to the new scene and altered the sound throughout the whole sequence in order to make it more effective as well as tightening up other cuts to improve continuity.

Progress.
We have been working on adding continuity to the sound and video footage of our opening sequence. We have also added transitions between some scenes and added effects to the flashbacks so that they appear more eerie and contrast with the other scenes, making the flashbacks stand out and so that it's obvious that the two sections of the opening are set in different time periods.Sophie and I have done the main part of editing and the other members of the group have been looking for copy right free music to add atmosphere to the clip.

My contribution
As a group we have completed the filming for our opening sequence. Two members of the group have now been
assigned to filming the final scene we have previously been prevented from filming due to bad weather conditions. Sophie and I have completed all of the edtiting for the draft version of our opening sequence but will still need to polish, for example the heartbeat sound needs to be smoother.
